I’m Christianna, the face behind Siftnwhisk blog. Siftnwhisk’s mission, is to share decadent desserts approachable to all home bakers. My Greek heritage has been a big influence on my baking journey. I mainly create, develop and photoshoot Greek desserts. My goal is
to continue promoting my culture through baking, while connecting with readers through foolproof recipes and eye-catching photos.

How it all started
I was born and raised in Patra, Peloponnese. I have a BA in Theatre hence I like to add an artistic element in every aspect of my life! Before moving to the States, I was living and working in the tourism industry in Santorini Island. Growing up, I always liked to experiment with different cuisines and challenge myself (mastering macarons is on my bucket list!).
The whole idea of SiftnWhisk started as a joke and became reality with my husband’s support. Moving to a foreign country right before Covid19 pandemic offered me plenty of time to read, sift, whisk and bake! Baking has been so therapeutic to me and has definitely helped me to cope with anxiety and feel closer to my roots. Hop in and follow me in this mouthwatering journey.
